Taking a walk in Lansdowne

Lansdowne is the nearest natural air-conditioner from Delhi where you can easily flee from the peak summer heat. It takes about five-six hours to cover some 250 kilometres to reach Lansdowne from the national capital. It's a fairly quiet place, good for a day or two. An ideal place to recharge your batteries in turbo mode.

The best activity in Lansdowne: do nothing.

Plucked fresh from the forest.

Souvenirs.

  2. Looks beautiful. But it seems, like elsewhere, the hill forests are fast being cut away...

    1. The lower part of the bark of some trees looked burnt in Lansdowne. But not sure whether it was because of the recent forest wildfire in Uttarakhand. The damage, however, is much visible.
